Vacuum Cleaner Components
Vacuum cleaner components are stored in the
side of the refrigerator module near the entrance
door. The vacuum cleaner storage cabinet con-
tains a long flex hose, wand, and a wide assort-
ment of wand attachments including one for
shag carpeting.
To operate the vacuum system, remove flex
hose from the cabinet, lift vacuum inlet hinge
cap, just under the storage cabinet, and insert
the proper end of the flex hose. At this point the
vacuum system will be operating and is used in
the same manner as any household vacuum
cleaner .
DRAPERY CARE
The draperies used in the GMC MotorHome
are to be DRY CLEANED ONLY .
CLEANING FABRICS
IMPORTANT:
Be sure vehicle is well venti-
lated while using cleaning agents. Follow
manufacturer's recommendations in using such
products .

CAUTION
Many cleaners may be toxic
or flamma-
blO, and $heir improper use may cause
persursal injury or may cause damage to
the interior . Therefore, when cleaning the
interior, do not use volatile cleaning sol-
vents such cps: acetone, lacquer thinners,
enamel reducers, nail polish removers ; or
such cleaning materials as lovndry soups,
bleaches or reducing
agents (except os
noted in she adjacent fabric cleaning
in-
structions an stain removal) . Never use
Carbon tetrachloride, +gasoline or naphtha
for any cleaning purpose.
CLEANING FABRICS WITH
CLEANING FLUIDS
G.M. Fabric Cleaner (Solvent Type) is ex-
cellent for spot cleaning stains containing grease,
oil or fats from fabric type trim. Excess stain
should be gently scraped off trim material with
a clean DULL knife or scraper . USE VERY
LITTLE CLEANER, light pressure, and clean
cloths (preferably cheese cloth) . Cleaning ac-
tion should be from outside of stain FEATHER-
ING towards center of stain and constantly
changing to a clean section of cloth . When
stain is cleaned from fabric, immediately dry
area with an air hose, heat dryer or heat lamp
to help prevent a cleaning ring (use caution with
heat dryer or heat lamp to prevent damage to
fabric material) . If a ring forms, immediately
