Withthe WeightCook feature,
the ovenautomaticallysets
cooking times and powerlevels
for varioustypes and amounts
of meat.
Use the Cook-By-Weight g uide on
page 9. Youchoose the appropriate
Code Number from 1 to 8 for the
foodyou are cooking. Enter the
Food Weight(in pounds and tenths
of a pound-–see ConversionGuide
on page 9). Then touch the START
pad. The ovencalculatesthe
cooking time and power level
for you.
Just as in conventionalroasting,
only tender roasts should be
cooked using the WeightCook
feature. Less tender roastsshould
be microwavedby time, according
to directions in the Cookbook that
came with your oven. It contains
complete information for preparing
roasts for microwaving.
When cooking roasts by weight,
they should be completely thawed
and be at refrigeratortemperature
for best results.
