    Operating Information Stop Using Your Handheld Computer In order to conserve your device battery life, you may place your device into one of the several power states available, either temporarily or for an extended period of time. You can change the power state of your handheld computer anytime by pressing the power button to open up the Power Menu.

Applications that were launched prior to entering this state will be put on halt; established wireless connectivity will be lost.
