7 . Expand a second exhaust hose to its full
length .
8 . Attach the exhaust hose to the bottom
hole on the back of the unit and the
other opening on the window unit kit .
9 . Close the window so it firmly bears
down on the kit .
10 . Insert the power cord into a grounded
AC 120V/60Hz socket.
11 . Press the on/oFF button to turn on
the air conditioner.

1 . Press the mode button until the "Cool"
icon – which looks like a snowflake –
appears .
2 . Press the temp+ or temp- button until
the desired room temperature appears.
(Note: The air conditioner will cool at
temperatures between 62 degrees F and
90 degrees F.)
3 . Press the Fan speed button to select
wind speed . There are three total speeds,
indicated by led bars on the panel . Zero
speed is the lowest wind speed .
4 . Press the mode button until the
"Dehumidify Indicator Lamp" icon – which
looks like a droplet – appears to light up .
The temperature will drop 2 degrees F
lower than the room temperature; it is not
adjustable .

setting the timer

1 . Press the timer button. The panel
blinks at 01 .
2 . Press the temp+ or temp- button
to get to your desired time for the air
conditioner to shut off. (Note: The time
is in military hours. If you wanted the

air conditioner to power off at 11:00am,
you would press the buttons until the
panel read "11." If you wanted the air
conditioner to shut off at 11:00pm, you
would press the buttons until the panel
read "23.")
3 . Press the timer button to set the time.
Optional: Press the timer button again
to revert the panel to the temperature
display. Your time will remain set.
turning oFF/on the timer
1. Power on the air conditioner to turn off
the timer or power off the air conditioner
to turn on the timer. Press the timer
button.
2 . Press the temp+ or temp- button to
set the desired off time. The preset off
time is displayed on the control panel.

cleaning the air Filter

1. Remove the square fixing clip on the
back of the unit .
2. Open the air inlet grille and remove the
air filter.
3. Wash the filter in lukewarm water and
neutral detergent .
4. Let the air filter dry.
5. Replace the filter in the grille.
6. Replace the square fixing clip.
7. Clean the air filter every two weeks or
as you notice it becoming clogged with
dust or dirt .
tips
• Wait at least three minutes between
switching from cooling to dehumidifying.
• The air conditioner is built to facilitate
continuous drainage. When you plan to
leave the air conditioner unused for one
week or more, remove the rubber plug
from the drainage hole at the bottom of
the unit . Connect a hose to the drainage
outlet located on the backside of the
bottom of the unit. Make sure the hose
is lower than the unit – you may need to
elevate the unit if using a catch pan or
reservoir .
