Special test methods, e.g. echo-cardiography or other high-risk test methods must not be performed by using the bicycle ergometer. For such purpose special su- pine ergometers are offered by ergoline. Application under outdoor conditions is not permitted. In case the ergometer is not being used according to above conditions, and if because of that any injuries or serious impact on individuals or damage of prop- erty are caused, the manufacturer cannot be held liable.
This unit may only be operated for therapy or diagnosis purposes under the supervision of qualified personal. ergoline GmbH is only responsible for the safety and reliability of this device " all revisions, enhancements, repairs and service to the device are carried out by ergoline authorized personnel (e.g.
4.7.1 Load Unit Inspection EC-Directive 93/42/EEC operator regulations require qualified technical maintenance of the load unit at two years intervals. This is to be performed by an ergoline authorized service technician. 4.8 Cleaning The unit and related accessories should be regularly cleaned, if necessary daily.
