Charge the handset battery If the handset requires charging, this occurs automatically when the handset is placed in the charger. For safety reasons, the battery is not charged prior to shipping. We recommend that you charge the handset for at least one hour before proceeding further with first-time registration of the handset.
Select a menu language After you charge the handset battery, you can switch the handset on and begin the first-time setup procedure. The first step is to select a language for display information. > Press to switch on the handset. The Bang & Language Olufsen logo appears briefly.
Registration of the handset to a base For the base and the handset to be able to communicate, the handset must be registered to a base. Up to eight* handsets can be registered to the same base. You can not register a handset to more than one base.

Name the handset When registration is complete, the display Enter handset prompts you to name the handset. This is name? practical if you have more than one handset. You can name the handset, for example, after the room in which it is placed, or after the person who uses it most frequently.
Set the time and date After you have registered the handset and Set time named it, the display prompts you to set the and date? time and date. The time is shown when the phone is not in use and when there is no new information in the display.
Note that the surface of the handset may be damaged by rough treatment, such as knocking and scraping against hard or rough surfaces. BeoCom 2 can only be used with the Bang & Olufsen accessories shown: – Table charger – Wall charger...
Conditions of the guarantee Each Bang & Olufsen product purchased from an authorised Bang & Olufsen retailer carries a guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials. The guarantor is the authorised Bang & Olufsen retailer or subsequently the national Bang & Olufsen representative. The guarantee period is 36 months.
