    Inspection After unpacking, inspect the unit carefully for possible damage to connectors or com− ponents. If any damage is discovered, contact Pentek immediately at (201) 818−5900. Please save the shipping container and packing material in case reshipment is required. Figure 2−1 illustrates the Model 78741 assembly, with the 71741 XMC module mounted onto the PCIe carrier.

    The ADC12D1800 will not operate properly until it is initialized using the ADC Serial Address and Data Registers (see the Model 71741 Operating Manual). Pentek’s ReadyFlow Board Support Packages provide functions to perform this initialization. For single−channel operation (ADC12D1800 DES mode), the Note ADC12D1800 power−on/reset default uses IN 2 as the signal input.
