- Page 2 INSTRUCTION MANUAL Switch Put in OFF position FIRST before connecting to USB for CHARGING or FILE RETRIEVAL. Put in ON position when you want to RECORD. Remember, no lights appear during recording! USB Connector - Turn OFF before connecting to USB on your PC or you may lose your recordings! Light may blink during charging and access.
- Page 3 YOUR RECORDINGS • The Jooney Bug creates 1 audio file each time you switch it on, then off. It will automatically pause your recording when there is no sound around it. This saves you time and memory and you will only record when the Jooney Bug hears conversation. •...
- Page 4 • DELETING FILES, MAC USERS (VERY IMPORTANT) On Mac, highlight the files on your Jooney Bug you wish to remove, then DELETE normally. Now, with the Jooney Bug still plugged in, go to your Trash Can and EMPTY it. This will remove ALL files in your Trash Can, including files that were NOT on your Jooney Bug.
- Page 5 FORMATTING? If your Jooney Bug IS responding, but is not recording properly, you might try FORMATTING the device. This will refresh the drive, and erase any hidden files that may be using up space. CAUTION! While this is a relatively simple process, please do carefully. However, if you are having problems playing your files, please download and try these programs. There are lots of different software packages available. However, we do recommended these basic programs that will suit most people.
