Introduction

Your RadioShack 56K Compact Flash Modem lets you connect
a Microsoft Windows CE-operated Pocket PC (such as the
Compaq iPAQ) to the Internet and send and receive e-mail. The
modem is light and compact, and conveniently fits in your pock-
et. The modem is easy to install (using the supplied RJ-11 ca-
ble).

Connecting Hardware

1. Firmly insert the compact modem's connector into the slot
on top of the Pocket PC. Use the arrow on the label's front
end as a guide for proper insertion.
2. Insert the supplied RJ-11 modular cable plug into the
modem's modular socket.
3. Insert the modular cable's other end into a standard tele-
phone line outlet.
