INSTALLING THE TRUCK ANTENNA
See Figures 2 - 3.
The truck antenna must be installed before use. The
antenna fits into a tube on the truck's chassis.
To install the antenna, the truck body must be removed.
 Place the truck on a flat, stable surface.
 Pull out the four pins that secure the truck body and
set them aside.
 The antenna wire is threaded through the hole on the
truck body. Remove the truck body.
 Slide the wire cover back toward the chassis to take
out some of the slack in the antenna wire. You can tie
a loose knot near the top of the antenna wire to secure
the wire cover. Do not pull on the antenna wire where it
is attached to the chassis.
 Insert the antenna and its wire into the antenna tube on
the chassis, making sure it is secure.
To replace the truck body:
 Thread the antenna through the hole in the truck body.
 Position the truck body over the four mounting posts
on the chassis.
 Reinstall the four pins that hold the truck body, making
sure the pins are securely in place before operation.
NOTE: Never operate the truck while the body is re-
moved. Doing so may cause damage to the chassis or
other internal parts.
