When the set has been disassembled and repaired, be sure to place all the copper tapes and filters back into
position to keep against unintended radiation.
Ë Serviceman mode
This model is equipped with the serviceman mode for a repairman to get the information that is effective in servicing
the set in the field. The serviceman mode consists of two modes: service mode to show the reception condition of
tuner and VSB system, and check mode to indicate the automatic-check results.
1. Calling the serviceman mode
1) Hold down the yellow color key located at the right of the set, and press the power key at the left to turn on the
power. The serviceman mode gets started and the following shows up on the screen.
2) The service mode comes on by pressing the blue color key on the set or on the remote controller: the check
mode by pushing the red color key.
2. Quitting the serviceman mode
Just turn off the power. When the power is turned on again, the set is switched on in the normal mode.
