CPU Overclocking Support
You can enable overclocking support for systems with Intel® Core™ i7-6820HK (2.7GHz) CPUs. However
to support overclocking for this CPU you will need to install the Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility which is pro-
vided on the Device Drivers & Utilities + User's Manual disc.
1.
Make sure all the necessary drivers and utilities are already installed on the computer.
2.
Insert the Device Drivers & Utilities + User's Manual disc into the CD/DVD drive of the computer.
3.
Browse to the location (D: denotes your DVD drive) below on the Device Drivers & Utilities + User's Manual
disc.
• D:\Options\XTU_6.XXXXX (X denotes the version number which is subject to change)
4.
Run the XTU-Setup.exe executable file.
5.
Click the checkbox to accept the terms of the license agreement and click Install and then click Close.
6.
Access the Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility from the desktop shortcut or from the apps menu.
7.
Note that making alterations to clock frequency and/or voltage can cause system instability, cause components
to fail, cause heat damage and result in data loss, and any changes made may affect the processor warranty.
