Vehicle status messages in the multifunction display
Possible cause/consequence
A loss of pressure has been detected in
the fuel system. The fuel cap may not be
closed properly or the fuel system may be
leaky.
Possible cause/consequence
The left or right backup lamp is malfunc-
tioning.
The left or right brake lamp is malfunc-
tioning. This message will only appear if
all LEDs have stopped working.
The high-mounted brake lamp is malfunc-
tioning. This message will only appear if
all LEDs have stopped working.

Check the fuel cap ( Y page 221).

If it is not closed properly: Close the fuel cap.

checked at an authorized Mercedes-Benz Cen-
ter.
