Find Address; Using The Name Filter - Lowrance iway 500c Additional Instructions

The 3D display renders the path ahead from a position above and be-
hind your current position, so that the display on the map more closely
matches what you'll actually see through your windshield.

Find Address

The Find Address command works exactly as described in your manual
(pages 50-51), but an additional field has been added to help narrow
your search. If your address search returns too long a list of possibili-
ties, you can specify which city or county you wish to search in by
pressing anywhere inside the field.

The virtual keyboard will appear (as described in Sec. 5 of your man-
ual). Enter the desired city or county name, and then choose . The

Find Address menu will appear again, with the information you en-
tered in the City/County Filter field. When you choose , the

iWAY will only search within the city you've entered.
The Find Address menu now includes a City field to refine searches.

Using the Name Filter

A function similar to the City/County Filter has been added to refine
long lists whenever you search for POIs or waypoints using the Find By
Nearest option. Now, when the list of nearest locations appears, you
will see the Name Filter field along with the list of locations.
