TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO

Press the POWER button 1 to turn the
unit on. Press the RADIO/BAND button
2 to select radio. Repeatedly press the
RADIO/BAND button 2 to select AM or
FM.

AUTOMATIC TUNING: Press and hold
the Tune/Skip/Search/Min n 1 or Hr o
2 button until the frequency in the dis-
play starts to scan, and then release
the button; the tuner will search and
then stop on the next strong station it
finds. Repeat this step until the desired
frequency appears in the display. The
display will revert back to the time dis-
play after a few seconds.
Antennas
FM: Unravel and extend the FM antenna wire for best reception.
AM: Turn the unit for better AM reception.

MANUAL TUNING: Repeatedly press the
Tune/Skip/Search/Min n 1 or Hr o 2 button
to manually advance the frequency in the
display up or down until the desired frequen-
cy appears. The display will revert back to
the time display after a few seconds.

Adjust the VOLUME buttons as
desired. When listening to an FM radio
station that is broadcasting in Stereo,
the Stereo ( ) indicator will appear. If
the radio broadcast is not strong
enough or not in stereo, the Stereo
( ) indicator will not appear in the dis-
play.
