Take out anything that may fall or extend through the
bottom of the basket.
Heavily soiled pots, pans and casseroles must be loaded
in the bottom rack, facing down. Prop broiler pans and
racks along the edge. Shallow items may be angled
provided the lower side does not shield the soiled
surface inside from the water.

Put flatware in the removable basket with handles up to
protect your hands. Mix knives, forks and spoons so
they don't nest together. Distribute evenly.
The security cell cover, hinged in the handle, can be
lowered to either side to secure light-weight
itemsfrom
the
effectsof the vigorouswashaction. When it is not
needed,this covercan remainupright.
