A fusein yourhomemaybeblown,or thecircuitbreakertripped.Replacefuseor
resetcircuitbreaker.Remove anyotherappliances fromthecircuit.
Utensilsmaynotbe secureon rackpins,or something smallmayhavedroppedfrom
the rack.Wateris causingutensilsto rattle.Makesureeverything is securelyplacad
in dishwasher.
Make sure inlet water temperature is correct. (Seepage 6.)
Unloadthebottomrack first. Waterfromdishesin thetoprackmaybe spillingintothe
bottomrack.
Checkforimproperloading.Dishesshouldn't n esttogether. A voidoverloading.
Checkthe rinseagentdispenserto seethatit'snotempty.
Checkinletwatertemperature. I t shouldbe at least 120°F. ( Totest,s= page6.)
Waterpressuremaybe temporarilylow.Turnon a faucet.Is watercomingoutslower
thanusual?If so, waituntilpressureis normalbeforeusingyourdishwasher.

Aluminumutensilsoftenleavemarkswhentheyrub againstdishes.Remove marks
with a mildabrasivecleanser.
Watermaynotbe reachingthe detergentcups.Movedishesthatmaybe blocking
detergentcup.
Thedispensercovermaynotbe openingor maybe blockedby improperlyloaded
items.If youused a powderdetergent,openthe cupandremoveanycaked-on
detergent.If the cup stilldoesn'topenautomatically, c allfor service.
Detergentmaybe old. If the powderdetergentis hardor cakedin thebox, throwit
away. T hedetergentmaynot be workingwell. Try anotherbrand.
CycleIndicatorDial mustbe in OFF positionfor cuplid to closeandlatchproperly.
If youunlatchthe door and open it to dry yourdishes,the CycleIndicatorDialdoesnot
advanceto OFF by itself.
Teaor coffeecan staincups. Removethe stainsby hand, usinga solutionof 1/2cup
bleachand 3 cupswarm water.
An overallyellowor brownfilmon dishesor glassware canbe causedby irondepositsin
