Introducing the Motherboard

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the H61H2-M9 motherboard. This motherboard is a high
performance, enhanced function motherboard designed to support the LGA1155
socket for latest Intel
business or personal desktop markets.
This motherboard is based on Intel
solution. H61 is a single-chip, highly integrated, high performance Hyper-Threading
peripheral controller, unmatched by any other single chip-device controller. This
motherboard supports up to 16 GB of system memory with dual channel DDR3 1333/
1066 SDRAM. High resolution graphics via PCI Express x16 slot, intended for
Graphics Interface. It provides two PCI rev 2.2 slots and one PCI Express x1 rev
2.0 slot for extending usage. It implements an EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller
Interface) compliant interface that provides eight USB 2.0 ports (four USB 2.0 ports
at the back panel and two USB 2.0 headers support additional four USB 2.0 ports and
one of Front USB 2.0 headers provide EZ charger technology, please refer to chapter
2 parts of Front Panel USB headers for more details). This motherboard implements
optional USB 3.0 chip which provides two optional USB 3.0 ports at rear I/O with
blue connectors also.
The motherboard is equipped with advanced full set of I/O ports in the rear panel,
including PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard connectors, one DVI port(Co-Lay HDMI
Port), one D-sub (VGA) port, one RJ45 LAN connector, four USB 2.0 ports, two
USB 3.0 ports (USB 2.0 optional), and audio jacks 6-ch for microphone, line-in and
line-out.
In addition, this motherboard supports four SATA 3Gb/s and two SATA 6Gb/s connec-
tors for expansion.
*When accommodating Intel 3rd Generation CPU, the PCI Express 16X
slot can run at Gen3 speed, which accelerates on 32GB/s rate that
effectively delivers double of PCI Express Gen2 speed.
