Rack - mounting and dismounting
● The functionality of the security mechanisms such as the stop bars or retaining systems on the
device must be ensured.
● The profile of the rack mounting rails must ensure threaded connection at the front of the
mounting systems.
The mounting systems are provided with a length adjustment facility, which also guarantees
alignment to various rack depths.
● No support for the cable management (supplied together with the installation kit).
● Environmental conditions:
– For ventilation of the installed device, there must be an unobstructed air inlet at the front
of the rack and an unobstructed air outlet at the rear of the rack.
– As a basic principle, the ventilation concept stipulates that the necessary cooling will be
achieved by the horizontal self-ventilation of the installed devices (air flow from the front
to the back).
● Power connection: For installation in 3rd party racks, it must be ensured that appropriate power
strips are present.
