ON/LIGHT, STANDBY
These buttons do not work on the P-05. They switch between
ON and STANDBY modes on Esoteric devices equipped with
the STANDBY function.
Some buttons of the remote control unit light few seconds
when this button is pressed.
B Number buttons
Enter the track number.
C PLAY AREA
When a hybrid Super Audio CD is loaded and the disc is not
being played, press this button to change the play area of the
disc.

D 2CH/MULTI
Press to select 2-channel stereo or multi-channel surround
audio output.
E SCAN
Press to scan forward and backward during playback.
F STOP (H)
Press to stop playback.
G PLAY (y)
Press to start playback.
H INPUT
These buttons do not work on the P-05. They can be used
with Esoteric D/A converters and amplifiers.
I
DIMMER
Press to select one of four brightness levels for the display and
indicator lamps.
J
SETUP
This button does not work on the P-05. It can be used with
Esoteric D/A converters and amplifiers.
K OPEN/CLOSE (L)
Use this button to open and close the disc tray.
L CLEAR
Press to clear entry errors.
M DISPLAY
Press to change display mode.
N REPEAT
Press to engage the repeat playback mode.
O DVD operation buttons
This button does not work on the P-05. It can be used with
Esoteric DVD players.
P SKIP (.//)
Press to skip forward or backward during playback.
Q PAUSE
Press to pause playback.
R VOLUME
This button does not work on the P-05. It can be used with
Esoteric D/A converters and amplifiers.
S MUTING
This button does not work on the P-05. It can be used with
Esoteric D/A converters and amplifiers.
