Sending an Alert Tone
To send a PTT Alert tone instead of a call:
• From the PTT Contacts list, highlight the contact, press
(+), then press and release I.
ALERT
• From the Dialed Calls , Received Calls , or Phonebook lists,
highlight the PTT contact, press M > Alert , then press
and release I.
• From the keypad, enter the contact's PTT number,
press M > Alert , then press and release I.
The contact receives a PTT Alert tone, and they can
speak first. If they do not respond, the call ends.

Answering a PTT Call

When you receive a PTT call, the Incoming Barge tone
sounds, followed by conversation from the caller.
• To speak when the caller stops speaking, press and
hold I and speak after the OK to Talk tone. Only
one person can speak at a time.
• To end the call, press EXIT (-) or O.
When you receive a PTT Alert tone, press ANSWER (+),
then press and hold Iand speak after the OK to Talk
tone. To cancel a PTT Alert call, press IGNORE (-) or O
when you receive a PTT Alert tone.
Note: Your phone displays Missed Call if you miss a
PTT Alert, but not if you miss a standard PTT call.
