Attach the
Window Sash Seal
and Bottom Gasket
Stool
Remove the Air
Conditioner From
the Case

1 Cut the window sash seal to the
proper length.
2 Peel off the backing and attach
the seal to the underside of the
window sash.
1 Unscrew the 2 screws at the
corners of the front grille on
each side. Keep for later use.
2 Pull the grille towards you at
the lower corners, about an inch.
Lift up and off.
CAUTION:
DO NOT damage the vent lever when
removing the grille.
3 Place the bottom window
gasket to the back side of the
window stool.
3 Remove the 6 screws that secure
the air conditioner to the case.
(2 on the top and sides and 2 at
the rear.) Keep the 4 screws
from the top and side. They will
be used later. The two screws
removed from the case rear will
not be reinstalled.

4 Slide the air conditioner out
from the case by pulling on the
hand hold located at the bottom
of it.
NOTE:
DO NOT remove any material includ-
ing styrofoam from inside the unit.
