This feature allows you to lock and unlock the vehicle's door(s) and liftgate without having to push the Key Fob LOCK or UNLOCK buttons, as well as starting and stopping the vehicle with the push of a button.

  • Page 18 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Advanced Front Air Bags • This vehicle has Advanced Front Air Bags for both the driver and front passenger as a supplement to the seat belt restraint systems. The Advanced Front Air Bags will not deploy in every type of collision.
  • Page 19 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D • After any collision, the vehicle should be taken to an authorized dealer immediately. • Do not drive your vehicle after the air bags have deployed. If you are involved in another collision, the air bags will not be in place to protect you.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D WARNING! • Side Air Bags need room to inflate. Do not lean against the door or window. Sit upright in the center of the seat. • Being too close to the Side Air Bags during deployment could cause you to be severely injured or killed.

Use the seat belt and tether anchor instead of the LATCH system once the combined weight is more than 65 lbs (29.5 kg).

Loosen the adjusters on the lower straps and on the tether strap of the child seat so that you can more easily attach the hooks or connectors to the vehicle anchorages.
