Traveling with the Magellan RoadMate

Where is the Volume Control?

The volume control is located at the top of the Magellan RoadMate. Use the
thumbwheel to set the volume of the speaker to a desired level.

Can the Voice Command be Repeated?

Yes. Anytime you may have missed a voice prompt, simply press the Repeat button
on the top of the Magellan RoadMate to have the last voice promt repeated.

How Do I Adjust the Contrast and Brightness?

The Magellan RoadMate has a light sensor on the front of the unit that will
automatically detect changes in lighting and adjust the brightness and contrast for
optimum viewing levels. You may also manually adjust the brightness and contrast
levels.
To access the contrast and brightness controls, press the
Option button and select "Configuration" from the list of
menu items. From the "Configuration" menu items, select
"Contrast" or "Brightness" and press Enter.
Use the left and right arrows from the 8-way arrow keypad
to adjust the contrast or the brightness to the levels desired.
Press Enter when you have the setting you want.
