Using the Alarm
ALARM: The alarm in your radio can be used to
activate an alarm at a desired time.
To turn the alarm on and off, press the alarm button.
When the alarm is on, the alarm symbol appears in
the display.
To set the alarm, press the alarm button for one and a
half seconds or more. The alarm indicator will be on the
display. Set the alarm time the same way as setting the
clock. See "Setting the Clock for the AM
with Cassette Tape Player" in the Index.
The alarm will sound for three minutes at the set time.
To stop the alarm, press the alarm button.
To make sure of the alarm set time, press the alarm
button for one and a half seconds or more.

Playing a Cassette Tape
Your tape player is built to work best with tapes that are
30 to 45 minutes long on each side. Tapes longer than
that are so thin they may not work well in this player.
Once the tape is playing, use the knobs for volume, tone
and balance, just as you do for radio operation.

rewinding, press the other button lightly.
To switch tape sides, press both fast forward and rewind
buttons at the same time. An arrow will light on the
display to show you tape playing direction.
EJECT: Press this button to remove the tape or stop
the tape and play the radio.
