Self timer

Sets the time after the shutter button is pressed until the picture is taken.

Press the jY button to display the direct menu.

Select [Y12], [Y2] or [YC] using HI (arrow pad) and press
the A button.

• To cancel the activated self-timer, press the  button.
• Self timer is not canceled automatically after shooting.
Press the shutter button halfway to focus, the rest of
the way down to start the timer. First, the self-timer
lamp lights up for approximately 10 seconds, then it
blinks for approximately 2 seconds and the picture
is taken.

the way down to start the timer. The self-timer lamp
blinks for approximately 2 seconds, and then the
picture is taken.
After selecting this mode, press the  button to
set " Y Timer sec (the time from pressing the shutter
button until the picture is taken), the number of
frames, and the interval time". Pictures are taken by
these setting.
When several images are shot, the interval from the
second shot may be longer. The camera starts to
count the interval after finishing process of the shot
image. The longer it takes to process an image, the
later the next shooting starts.
