to the Vitocal 160-A. Provide pipelines from the collectors to the
Vitocal 160-A on site. Also install a pump station (Solar-Divicon) in the
solar circuit. The Vitocal 160-A type WWKS already features the con-
nections required for connection to the solar circuit. The internal solar
indirect coil for DHW heating is also fitted.
Provide thermal insulation for the pipework using a material capable
of withstanding temperatures up to 185 ºC. This requirement also
applies to the use of fixing clamps.

Connect a suitably sized expansion vessel to the pipework to be instal-
led.
To achieve the required pump rate it is necessary to calculate the
pressure drop of the pipework including that of the collector area. With
regard to implementation, installation, calculation and limits of appli-
cation of the solar thermal system, the latest version of the technical
guide, service instructions and installation instructions for the solar
thermal system apply.
