NOTE
• Selecting [Create database without registering.] in step 3 creates a database on the USB device to enable a song
selection by categories or artists on a car audio system from songs stored in USB device.
This operation will not register the USB device to this program.
• You can change the icon of the USB device by clicking [Change Icon] in step 4.
• When a USB device is registered, the necessary information is written and directory for storing the device library is
created. In addition, it is added (registered) to the device list of this program.
• When a USB device is registered, the icon of the USB device always appears in the target selector regardless of
whether the device is connected or not.
• Right click the USB device icon in the target selector and select [Device Information] in the context menu to
display the information (device name, device capacity) of the registered USB device.
• Depending on the model of the car audio set in step 6, Target use condition setting dialog is displayed when you
click [Complete] in step 8. The car audio side operations can be set from this dialog.
"Display Album Art":
Transfers the image set as album art for the song to the USB device in default format in order to display album art
when playing songs on the car audio.
"Reduce volume difference between songs during playback":
Transfers the necessary data to USB device in order to reduce the difference in volume between songs (audio files)
when playing songs (audio files) on the car audio.
"Play main part of song during File Scan playback":
Transfers the necessary data to USB device in order play the main part when scanning files on card audio.
If you select [Target use condition setting] in the device context menu of the target selector, the above dialog is
displayed and you can change the usage condition.
• Following playlists are automatically created on the USB device when registration is complete.
– Favorites (up to 10 songs) (Dynamic Playlist)
– Upbeat (up to 10 songs) (Impression Playlist)
– Recent Release (up to 10 songs) (Dynamic Playlist)
– Recent Registered (up to 10 songs) (Dynamic Playlist)
