    Front Component Description Memory card reader Reads optional memory cards that store, manage, share, or access information. To insert a card: Hold the card label-side up, with connectors facing the slot, insert the card into the slot, and then push in on the card until it is firmly seated.

The computer uses an electric fan for ventilation. The fan is controlled by a temperature sensor and is designed to turn on automatically when high temperature conditions exist.

    Restoring and recovering your system Creating recovery media and backups After you successfully set up the computer, create HP Recovery media. This step creates a backup of the HP Recovery partition on the computer. The backup can be used to reinstall the original operating system in cases where the hard drive is corrupted or has been replaced.
