UNDERSTANDING DP715/710 VOICE PROMPT DP715 Base Station has a built-in voice prompt menu for simple device configuration. The IVR menu work with any Handset registered to the base. Pick up the handset and dial “***” to use the IVR menu.
REGISTERING A HANDSET TO THE DP715 BASE STATION You can register up to 5 handsets to one DP715 base station. Each handset can, for its part, be registered to up to four base units and the user can choose which base unit he wishes to use. In the default setting as supplied, each handset is registered as Handset 1 to Base unit 1.

INTERNAL CALLS In some cases a user may want to make phone calls between the handsets registered to the same DP715 Base Station when it is used as a standalone unit, without the use of a SIP server. This feature will also be applicable when the DP715 Base Station is used with Hunting Groups and is registered to SIP server only with one master number.

Codec Configuration Preferred Vocoder The DP715 supports up to 6 different Vocoder types including G.711 A-/U-law, G.726-32 , G.723.1, G.729A/B and iLBC. The user can configure Vocoders in a preference list that will be included with the same preference order in SDP message. The first Vocoder is entered by choosing the appropriate option in “Choice 1”.
This button is used to de-register all the handset previously registered with the DP715 Handsets Base Station Enable Subscription This button will allow you to set the DP715 into subscription mode in order to register a Mode new Handset. Note: Subscription mode is automatically exited after 120 seconds.
Select the corresponding Profile ID between Profile 1 and Profile 2. SAVING THE CONFIGURATION CHANGES Click the “Update” button in the Configuration page to save the changes to the DP715 configuration. The following screen confirms that the changes are saved.
