    Tear the ember material into small thin pieces and spread evenly on top of the burner. Ember material will only glow when exposed to direct fl ame. Reinstall the door and safety screen. Place the right crossover log (W135-0547) onto the pin located in the right side of the rear log, allow it to rest in the notch of the right log.

    BATTERY BACK-UP INSTALLATION NOTE: In the event of a power failure your appliance can be operated using the battery back-up supplied. Remove the safety screen by lifting it up and off of the four shoulder screws. Locate your battery holder, this would have been supplied in the manual baggie. Locate the red and black wires from the control module to connect to the battery holder, as shown below.
