You can take pictures that are intentionally over-exposed or under-
exposed.

Select [EV Compensation] on the [

Use the four-way controller (
to select the EV setting in the
range of –2.0 EV to +2.0 EV in 1/3
EV steps.
To brighten, set positive +.
To darken, set negative –.

Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take the picture.
EV Compensation is registered on the four-way controller (
the Fn default settings.
The light metering method is either center-weighted or spot when
the EV setting is adjusted.
