Solutions
Replace both batteries with fresh alkaline
batteries. Battery life with fresh batteries is
about 11 hours for continuous CD play and
5 hours longer for radio use (rechargeable
batteries have 1/2 of that life).
Replace both batteries with fresh ones.
Check AC ADAPTOR connection at AC
outlet and the rear of the set.
Re-insert disc with label side facing up.
Try another compact disc. This set will not
play MP3 or WMA discs.
Replace disc (this set will not play damaged
or scratched CDs) or buy a disc repair
polisher to repair it yourself.
Close the door securely.
Take out the CD and leave the CD Door
open for about 20 minutes to dry the
moisture condensation.
Re-insert headphones plug into PHONES
jack (not LINE OUT).
Increase the volume.
Replace with fresh batteries or use an
optional AC ADAPTOR.
Try another compact disc.
Plug headphones into PHONES jack.
(NOT THE LINE OUT JACK)
Clean or replace the compact disc or clean
the lens.
Lower the VOLUME control.
Slide BASS BOOST switch to OFF.
Replace both batteries or use an optional
AC ADAPTOR.
Remove batteries and AC ADAPTOR. Wait
15 seconds and re-insert. Make sure
batteries are fresh or the optional AC
ADAPTOR has power.
Slide the FUNCTION switch to the FM or
AM position.
Straighten your headphone's wire, or bring
your set closer to a window.
When using the line out jack, please also
insert the headphones and adjust its
position for use as a FM antenna.
Rotate the set or bring it near a window.
