DVB4136 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace

Optional Louvre Kit

Louvre Kit
1. Remove the existing louvres (if installed) from the
fireplace and discard. (Refer to "Louvre Removal"
instructions on Page 25.)
2. Remove the existing hood (if installed) from the top
opening of the fireplace and discard. (Fig. 83)

3. Remove the new hood from the kit. Using the three
(3) screws just removed or ones provided in the kit,
secure the new hood to the fireplace.
4. Remove the top louvre from the kit box. Mount the
louvre onto the fireplace. (Fig. 84)
5. Remove the bottom louvre assembly from the kit
box. Place the tabs on the hinges into the slots in
the base pan front and secure with two (2) screws
provided. (Fig. 85)
6. Close bottom louvre.
Installation complete.

special shoulder

3. Install the top and
bottom filigree
louvres by placing
the 'hooks' on each
side of the filigree
louvres over the
screws just in-
stalled.
Installation complete.
