Digit lengths
You can set the number of digits used for a phone
number in your voice dial list.
Select >
Menu Settings
and one of the following:
Digit Lengths
• allows 7, 10, and 1 +
North American
10 digits in a phone number.
• allows 4-14 digits in a
Permit All
phone number.

Voice answer

You can set your phone to answer a call
automatically when using a headset.
Enable voice answer
Select >
Menu Settings
>
Voice Answer With Accessory
answer feature, you must disable the Auto-Answer
feature (see "Auto-answer" on page 51) and set
the phone to normal sounds (see "Ringer mode"
on page 48).
Use voice answer
When you receive an incoming call, the phone
prompts you with a voice recording. If the caller
is recognized as a contact entry in your phone,
then the phone prompts "Incoming call from
(Name), answer?" Say "Yes" or press any key
except the key to answer. Say "No" and press
End
the key to silence the alert. Remain silent.
End
The voice alert repeats twice and the phone rings
once, then returns to the home screen.

You can set your phone to make a call using
a headset.

Use voice wake-up
To wake up the phone:
1. Say "Wake Up" and listen for a tone.
2. Say "Wake Up" again until you hear
two tones.
If the phone does not recognize your Wake Up
command, see "Voice training" on page 50.
Voice training
If your phone is having trouble recognizing
your voice, you can train by speaking
number commands.

5. Follow the prompts displayed on the
screen. Speak each number until training
is complete.
