1. Chassis Board

Measuring instruments: Dual-channel oscilloscope, 10:1 test probe, digital voltmeter, colour video generator.
Service works after replacement or repair of the following modules:
- Chassis: alignment 1.1
- Tuner, IF amplifier: alignment 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5.1 or 1.5.2
- IC80065, IC80070: alignment 1.6 ...1.11 and 1.13 ... 1.14
- horizontal deflection: alignment 1.11...1.13 and 2.2

Alignment Process
Set 135V (63, 70 cm) or 140V (72cm) with R61313.
Set 12V on contact 36 of the Feature Box with R61031.
Set 5V on contact 9/10 of the Feature Box with R61041 .
Set 5V on contact 8 of the Feature Box with R61001.
Set 5V on contact 32/33 of the Feature Box with R61051
.
Adjust R61007 to 8.5V ± 0.3V.
±
Set 3.3V
0.1V with R32033.
On activation of AFC Reference a rectified IF-voltage from
the AFC output of IC32040 is measured at the multipoint
connector, contact 5, of the signal module which is used
on station search or for VCR-RF playback (station
identification "AV") as a comparative value to readjust the
modulator drift (typ. 127±10). Activate with "OK".
Set 580mVpp with R32252.
Set 2.5V with FI32043.
Set 2.5V with R32082.
With the
buttons set the values for VG and VB so that
the white area becomes achromatic.
Use the "?" key to call up the default values stored in
EPROM IC80060.
The setting is stored when terminating the menu.
With the
buttons adjust for minimum flutter at the top
or bottom picture edge.
The setting is stored when terminating the menu.
With the
buttons select P63, P70 or P72.
The selected type is stored when terminating the menu.
In RGB operation it is possible to set the RGB level to "on"
or "off" with the buttons
to eliminate line tearing in this
mode. The setting is stored when terminating the menu.
With the
buttons optimize differences between Y and
chroma delay (on per-programme basis).
The setting is stored when terminating the menu.
