a variety of useful functions.
These terminals provide a purer picture than the
S Video terminal.
If your television is compatible with progressive
scan, you can enjoy high-quality progressive video.
If you have a progressive compatible CRT television,
we cannot recommend this connection as some
flickering may occur.
This terminal achieves a more vivid picture than
the video terminal.

Use of the supplied RF coaxial cable To prevent interference patterns from appearing on your TV, use only the supplied RF coaxial cables when you connect this unit to your TV and aerial outlet or aerial cable...
  • Page 3 Connecting to a television and satellite receiver Auto-Setup After completing the connections, proceed to the Auto-Setup on page 4. View / record satellite programmes Press INPUT SELECT to select the input channel AV2 or put this unit in standby mode. To record satellite programmes refer to “VIDEO Plus+ codes for satellite receivers".
  • Page 4 Auto-Setup Automatic setup of the unit After being switched on for the first time, the unit proceeds with an automatic station search for digital channels. This is followed by the search for analogue channels. Turn on the television and select the AV input that this unit is connected to. Switch the unit on using the Standby/on-switch.
