Choosing Job Log Setup Options

Use the information in this section to choose options in the Job Log Setup
menu. To get to the Job Log Setup menu, use the information in "Accessing
and Reviewing the Setup Menus" on page 6–3.
In the Job Log Setup menu, configure the log that the printer maintains of
printed jobs. The log is useful for accounting and tracking purposes.
You can access the Job Log either by printing it manually from the operator
panel, like this:
1. While the printer is online, press the Menu push button. The PRINT
PAGES menu is displayed.
2. Use the Menu Scrolling push buttons to scroll to the JOB LOG menu item.
3. Press the Enter push button. The Job Log is printed.
Or you can use the Spooler utility to print the Job Log or save it to a file. See
the User's Guide for information about using the Spooler utility.
You can configure the Job Log to print automatically every time it contains a
record of 40 jobs. This is the AutoPrint option in the Job Log Setup menu,
and it is explained in Table 4, "Job Log Setup Options and Client/Server
Implications," on page 6–15.
