Troubleshooting
If you encounter any problems, first check the items listed below. If the solution provided below does not solve the
problems, or you are experiencing a problem other than what is in the list, turn the power OFF, disconnect the AC
power adaptor and contact the dealer from whom you purchased the instrument to have the instrument repaired.
Symptom
A "pop" like noise occurs when
the power is turned ON.
A scratching noise or "pop"
occasionally occur.
The instrument cause noise from
the radio or TV, etc.
The function indicators lamp are
flashing.
The speaker does not product
sound even though the keyboard
is being played.
Notes in the low frequency are
hard to hear.
The sound distorted.
Data in the memory has been
lost.
The LCD display is hard to read
The sound is distorted when
playing chords.
Cause
Electrical power is flowing
through the main amplifier.
These noises are often caused
when household appliances
such as refrigerators, washing
machines, etc., turn on or off, or
when an electric drill, etc., is
being operated.
The radio or TV is positioned too
close to the instrument.
Battery power is low.
Individual note volumes are set
to "0".
A headphone is connected to the
instrument.
This is due to the limitations of
the speaker.
Low frequencies is produced at
high volume level from an
external speaker
Resonance is occurred to closet,
windowpane or other objects
close to the instrument.
The low power rated speaker is
used.
The backup lithium battery's
power is low.
The display can be hard to read
from some angles.
Battery power is low.
Solution
This indicates that the device is operating and
is noting to worry about. If you are using
external speakers, please turn down the
volume on the amplifier before switching the
power ON.
Use an AC outlet that is as far away as possible
from the instrument that is causing noise.
If you can not locate the source or reason for
the noise, or have any questions, please
contact the dealer from whom you purchased
the instrument.
Position of the radio or TV as far away as
possible from the instrument.
Use the AC power adaptor or replace all six
batteries with a new set.
Set the volume to any level other than "0".
Disconnect the headphones from the
instrument.
Connect the instrument to a keyboard amplifier,
etc.
Reduce the volume
Remove the objects that are resonating.
Use the high power rated speaker.
The speaker rated 100 W or more is
recommended for the window music.
Contact the dealer from whom you purchased
the instrument and have the battery replaced.
Adjust the angle so that the display is easier to
read.
Adjust the contrast control knobs.
Use the AC power adaptor or replace all six
batteries with a new set.
