Section 3 - Configuration
Select Static IP Address if all WAN IP information is provided to you by your ISP. You will need to enter in the IP address, Subnet
mask, Gateway address, and DNS address(es) provided to you by your ISP. Each IP address entered in the fields must be in the
appropriate IP form, which are four octets separated by a dot (x.x.x.x). The Router will not accept the IP address if it is not in this
format
.
IP Address:
Enter the IP address assgned by your ISP.
Subnet Mask:
Enter the Subnet Mask assgned by your ISP.
ISP Gateway:
Enter the Gateway assgned by your ISP.
MAC Address:
The default MAC Address s set to the WAN's
physcal nterface MAC address on the Broadband
Router. It s not recommended that you change the
default MAC address unless requred by your ISP.
Clone MAC
The default MAC address s set to the WAN's
Address:
physcal nterface MAC address on the Broadband
Router. You can use the Clone MAC Address
button to copy the MAC address of the Ethernet
Card nstalled by your ISP and replace the WAN
MAC address wth the MAC address of the router.
It s not recommended that you change the default
MAC address unless requred by your ISP.
Primary DNS
Enter the Prmary DNS server IP address assgned
Address:
by your ISP.
Secondary DNS
Ths s optonal.
Address:
MTU:
Maximum Transmission Unit - you may need to
change the MTU for optmal performance wth your
specific ISP. 1492 s the default MTU.
