CLEANING THE WANDS:
- Clean the wands thoroughly (especially the steam wand) at the end of the day (and also
immediately after each time they are used, as described in the paragraphs on Water Delivery
and Steam Delivery, so as to prevent the formation of bacteria or deposits, which could clog
the holes in the diffuser, and to prevent other kinds of beverages heated earlier from altering
the fl avour of the beverages being heated.
CLEANING THE CUP-HOLDER GRID AND BASIN:
- Remove the cup-holder grid, pull out the dregs-collection basin and wash it with running
water.
OUTER CASE CLEANING:
Use a damp cloth (not abrasive). Never under any circumstances use alcohol or solvents on
the written or painted parts.
CAPPUCCINATORE CLEANING (if present):
WARNING! HOT LIQUID DELIVERY!
Is advisable to perform the following operations at the end of working day:
- Insert the milk aspiration pipe in a glass with water, press "Cappuccino" button and deliver
water for some second.
For a careful cleaning:
- Remove the milk frothing device from the support and spare all parts.
- Soak all components in sanitizing solution suitable for crockery (remove possible milk solid
deposits).
- Rinse under running water, dry and reassemble all the parts.
FOR MACHINES WITH "HYPERWAND" -
AUTOMATIC CLEANING CYCLE:
If Hyperwand is not used for a programmed
time, display shows "PUSH STEAM BUTTON"
and the "6" signalling LED will light up.

- Push "Hot Milk" or "Frothed Milk" button (4 or
5), on the control-holder panel: cleaning cycle
starts and lasts from 15 to 25 sec.
NOTE:
Is possible to program the time between the
stop of Hyperwand and the beginning of clean-
ing cycle. Range: from 1 to 5 min.
