The oven vent

Hot air and moisture escape from the oven
through a vent in the center rear of the
cooktop. The vent lets air circulate properly.
Be careful not to block the vent, or you will
get poor baking/roasting results.
NOTE: Never store plastics, paper, or other
items that could melt or burn near the oven
vent, or any of the surface burners.
The oven door vent
Hot air and moisture may escape from the
door vent during certain oven modes. Some
condensation may be observed occasional-
ly. This will not affect cooking performances.

The oven door

Removing the oven door:

1. Open the door to the Broil Stop position
(open about 4" [10 cm]).

remove door completely.
