[Example of white balance adjustment]
Adjust BLUE so that the y value is met. If it is necessary to increase BLUE larger than 255, lower
RED and GREEN at the same time until the y value is met. When the y value is met, adjust RED. If
it is necessary to increase RED larger than 255, lower BLUE and GREEN at the same time until the
x value is met. If any value of RGB does not attain 255 even when both values of x and y have
attained the same goal setting values, increase RGB by the same figure and adjust x and y again
until any one amounts to 255.

e. sRGB GAMMA adjustment
GAMMA adjustments can be effected by modifying the data of the LUT (Look Up Table) on the EEPROM.
1) Enter signals (all white, UXGA, 60Hz, 0.7Vpp) and execute [tab 2] → [AUTO CONTRAST] of the
service menu.
2) Set 0.7Vpp at 100% (255 gradations). Make up the respective RGB values for the monochromatic
patterns of the respective gradations specified in Table 5. When this job is conducted by the use of a
personal computer, confirm that a 24-bit display system is being used.
3) For each RGB, use a color analyzer and measure the monochromatic brightness of the respective
gradations specified in Table 5.
4) Enter the measured values in the sRGB Gamma Calculator Software (Part No. 599910551) and
execute the instructions (by pressing the EXECUTE button). Then, the data are entered in the
EEPROM and the GAMMA data are established.
