Remove string spool (B) and spring (C) from the
spindle (D).
3.
Remove remaining cutting string (H).
4.
Insert new cutting string (length: 4.3m [14"], Ø: 2mm
[080"]) with the looped end in the slit on the string
spool (Illustration 9B).
5.
Wind up the cutting string firmly in a clockwise
direction (Illustration 9C). Make sure that both string

Wind up string until 15 cm, [6"] of string length remain.
6.
Direct one end of the cutting string (H) through
an opening (F) on the opposite side of the spool

Press the spool securely into the housing - spring is
tensioned. Pull securely on both ends of the string
(H), so that it is not jammed (Illustration 9F).
10.
Maintain spring tension by constant pressure to the
spool in the housing, and tighten the screw sturdily
(Illustration 9G).
