6-3-3. OSD Filter Setting

When the following trouble symptom occurs, correct it by setting the OSD filter as described below.
• Characters on the OSD screen flicker depending on the monitor connected.
[Entry]
1)
Turn of the main power ON.
2)
Press "ESC" on the service remote controller.
3)
Press "DISP".
4)
Press "DIG/ANA" four times.

Press "ESC". (Returns to the original screen)
[Tips]
As the setting value becomes greater, jitter is reduced on a CRT display. However, as lines for characters appear thick, complex characters may
become difficult to read. On the contrary, as the setting value becomes smaller, jitter increases on a CRT display.
However, as lines for characters become sharper, complex characters become more legible.
Note1: A new setting becomes active as soon as it is made. As a new setting is stored in nonvolatile memory, it will be retrieved when the unit it
turned on the next time.
Note2: After the factory-preset values are downloaded, the setting value for the OSD Filter will be the default Value (4).

Changing the setting value for the OSD
Filter
The setting value is reset to default.
To exit the OSD Filter Setting and clear the
screen (Appears the tuner screen.)
Satting value
"Rev x 3", "SPEED+"
0 – 4 (Default value: 4)
" x 3 Fwd", "SPEED–"

Remarks
: The setting value increases by1.
: The setting value decreases by1.
