Listening to the radio

You can enjoy both AM and FM radio on
the unit. The RDS radio has a function to
automatically switch to the radio if another
source is selected to receive emergency
information, traffic information, or a program
specified by the user.

Using the radio preset channel list

What is a "preset channel"?

You can register (preset) the frequency of
a station that can be received in the area
you are driving. You can receive any desired
station at the touch of a button without
having to adjust the frequency.
There are four preset channel lists: FM1,
FM2, FM3, and AM. Up to six stations can
be registered in each list.
There are two ways of registering to preset
channel lists, manual and automatic.
Touch it during an FM broadcast to display a
description of the broadcast that is currently
being received.

Appears on audio screens other than the
RDS radio screen.
Preset channel list (Station list)
The stereo status, preset channel number,
name of broadcasting station, and frequency
are displayed. Only the frequency is displayed
for AM radio.

Description of the content currently being
received is displayed.

Using reception bands

When the station differs according to region,
reception bands can be switched and used
at the touch of a button by setting preset
channels in that area to each of FM1, FM2,
FM3, and AM.
