Setting the alarm (Menu > Alarm settings) EVOKE-1S has an alarm which switches the radio on (if in standby mode) and tunes to a DAB or FM radio station, or sounds an alarm tone. 1. Press the Menu button, turn the Tune dial and push to select ‘Alarm settings’. -

Tune 08:30 08:30 Standby Kitchen timer EVOKE-1S has a countdown timer which will sound an alarm after a set time period – handy for use in the kitchen. To set a kitchen timer 1. Press the Timer button. Timer 2. Turn the Tune dial to change the hours and push to confirm. Turn again to change the minutes and push to confirm and start the countdown timer. -

Intellitext® Intellitext provides on-demand text information such as sports headlines, weather, and news from DAB stations that support the service including Virgin, BBC Radio Five Live and talkSPORT. The text is updated by the broadcasters and stored in your radio while you listen to stations. Intellitext is listed by station and split into categories. -

Screensaver EVOKE-1S has a screensaver that appears when the unit is left unattended whilst on or in standby. To avoid screen burn-in over a long period, it is recommended that you do not switch the screensaver off. -
