_ Setting up the Network
NOTE
IPaddress field numbers mustbebetween 0 and255.If youinputan
incompatible number a nd press the OKbutton,thefield number w ill be
reset t o theprevious value.
8 Press the &/V (arrow) buttons to highlight Subnet Mask, and edit
in the same way as IP Address.
9 Press the A/V (arrow) buttons to highlight Default Gateway, and
edit in the same way as IP Address.
NOTE If youmanually settheIPaddress, y oumustnotusethesameIPaddress
with anyotherdevice.TheIPaddress youuseshouldbea private address.
If youdo not knowthecorrectvalues to use,contact y ournetwork
administrator o r internet s erviceprovider.
DNS Setup
NOTE .:o Whenthe DHOP functionofthe routerconnected to this TVis Off,set
AutoSetupto Off,andmanually settheDNSaddress(es).
YourInternet S ervice Providershouldhaveprovidedthese to you.
¢ Thesettingsin AutoSetup arelinkedto thoseselected in the IP
AddressSetupmenu.IfAuto Setupis setto On,thenAutoSetup
in theIP AddressSetup menuwill alsobe setto On.
Auto setup:
1 Press the SETUP button.
2 Select Network > Network Setup > Advanced Network Setup
and press the OK button.
3 Press the A/V (arrow) buttons to select DNS Setup, and then press
the OK button.
4 Press the &/V (arrow) buttons to select Auto Setup and press the
OK button.
5 Pressthe A/V (arrow) buttons to select On.
NOTE OtheritemsaregrayedoutwhenAuto Setup issetto On.
Manual setup:
1 Press the SETUP button.
2 Select Network > Network Setup > Advanced Network Setup
and press the OK button.
