    Telephone Base Installation choose a location for the base near an electrical outlet and a telephone jack. handset batteries MUsT be connected before beginning initial charging! 1 plug in the ac adapter to the base at the ac plug-in connection. 2 plug the telephone line cord into the telephone jack on the base 3 remove battery compartment cover by sliding it downwards.

    when not in use and off the base, the low battery icon will appear on the caller iD display. place on the base to recharge. if not, after 4 hours the phone will be dead and you will need to recharge for 24 hours before using.
