    Telephone Base Installation choose a location for the base near an electrical outlet and a telephone jack. handset batteries MUsT be connected before beginning initial charging! 1 plug in the ac adapter to the base at the ac plug-in connection. 2 plug the telephone line cord into the telephone jack on the base 3 remove battery compartment cover by sliding it downwards.
