When electric tools are used on fiberglass boats,
sports cars, etc., it has been found that they are
gu.bject to accelerated wear and possible prem-ature
failure, as the fiberglass chips and grinbings are
highly abrasive to bearings, brushes, commu[ators,
etc. Consequently it is not recommended that thi6
tool be used for continuous production work on any
fiberglass m.aterial. During any use on fiberglass it i3
extremely important that the tool is- cleaned
frequently by blowing with an air jet.
After prolonged use the clamp bar may wear slighily
and allow the motor unit to move too easilyl To
adjust the pressure, loosen the two hex nuts (Kev
I.o S.t ) and tighten. the two set screws (Key No.'29)'.
